Welcome to MDG Comfort Hotel. These Terms of Service constitute a legally binding agreement between you and MDG Comfort Hotel regarding your use of our hotel services, facilities, and website. By making a reservation, checking in, or using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

1. General Terms

These terms apply to all guests, visitors, and users of MDG Comfort Hotel services, including accommodation, dining, meeting facilities, and any other services we provide. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time, with changes taking effect immediately upon posting on our website.

2. Reservations and Booking

2.1 Booking Confirmation

All reservations are subject to availability and must be confirmed by MDG Comfort Hotel. A booking is considered confirmed only when you receive written confirmation from us via email or other written communication. We reserve the right to decline any reservation at our sole discretion.

2.2 Rates and Payment

Room rates are quoted in Euros and are subject to applicable taxes and fees. Rates may vary based on seasonal demand, special events, and availability. Full payment or a valid credit card guarantee is required at the time of booking or check-in, unless otherwise specified in corporate agreements.

2.3 Special Requests

Special requests such as specific room locations, accessibility requirements, or dietary restrictions should be made at the time of booking. While we make every effort to accommodate special requests, they cannot be guaranteed and are subject to availability.

3. Check-in and Check-out

3.1 Check-in Policy

  • Standard check-in time is 4:00 PM
  • Early check-in is subject to availability and may incur additional charges
  • Valid government-issued photo identification is required for all guests
  • The person checking in must be at least 18 years of age
  • Credit card authorization may be required for incidental charges

3.2 Check-out Policy

  • Standard check-out time is 10:00 AM
  • Late check-out is subject to availability and may incur additional charges
  • Express check-out services are available upon request
  • Final bills must be settled before departure
Important: Failure to check out by the designated time may result in additional charges equivalent to one night's accommodation rate.

4. Cancellation and No-Show Policy

4.1 Standard Cancellation Policy

Reservations may be cancelled without penalty up to 24 hours before the scheduled arrival date. Cancellations made within 24 hours of arrival or no-shows will be charged the full rate for the first night's accommodation plus applicable taxes.

4.2 Special Events and Peak Periods

During special events, holidays, or peak periods, stricter cancellation policies may apply. These will be clearly communicated at the time of booking and may require 48-72 hours advance notice for cancellation.

4.3 Group Reservations

Group bookings (10 or more rooms) are subject to specific terms and conditions, including different cancellation policies and payment schedules. These will be outlined in a separate group contract.

5. Guest Responsibilities and Conduct

5.1 Acceptable Behavior

Guests are expected to conduct themselves in a manner that does not disturb other guests or compromise the safety and security of the hotel. We reserve the right to refuse service or remove any guest whose behavior is deemed inappropriate, disruptive, or dangerous.

5.2 Property Damage

Guests are financially responsible for any damage to hotel property caused by themselves, their companions, or their visitors. This includes but is not limited to room furnishings, fixtures, equipment, and common areas.

5.3 Smoking Policy

MDG Comfort Hotel is a non-smoking facility. Smoking is prohibited in all guest rooms, common areas, and indoor spaces. Designated smoking areas are available outside the building. Violation of this policy will result in cleaning fees of €200 minimum.

5.4 Visitors and Additional Guests

All visitors must be registered with the front desk. Additional guests beyond the room's stated capacity are not permitted without prior approval and may incur additional charges. Overnight visitors must be registered and may require separate accommodation.

6. Hotel Facilities and Services

6.1 Room Amenities

Room amenities include complimentary WiFi, climate control, premium bedding, and bathroom essentials. Any malfunctioning equipment should be reported to the front desk immediately for prompt resolution.

6.2 Parking

Complimentary parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis. The hotel is not responsible for theft, damage, or loss of vehicles or personal property left in parking areas or vehicles.

6.3 Lost and Found

Items left behind by guests will be held for 30 days. After this period, unclaimed items may be disposed of or donated to charity. The hotel is not responsible for lost or stolen personal belongings.

7. Limitation of Liability

MDG Comfort Hotel's liability for any claim, loss, damage, or injury is limited to the total amount paid for the accommodation. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages. This limitation applies except where prohibited by applicable law.

7.1 Personal Property

The hotel maintains limited liability for guest property. Valuable items should be stored in room safes or deposited with the front desk. We recommend that guests carry appropriate travel insurance for personal belongings.

7.2 Business Interruption

The hotel is not liable for any interruption of services due to circumstances beyond our control, including but is not limited to natural disasters, power outages, labor disputes, or governmental actions.

8. Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. Personal information collected during your stay is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws. We may use your information to provide services, process payments, and communicate with you about your stay.

9. Force Majeure

Neither party shall be liable for any failure to perform due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, labor disputes, or government regulations. In such cases, we will work with guests to find reasonable alternative arrangements.

10. Governing Law and Disputes

These terms are governed by German law and the laws of Baden-Württemberg. Any disputes arising from these terms or your stay will be resolved through German courts, with jurisdiction in the appropriate court for Möckmühl, Germany.

10.1 Alternative Dispute Resolution

We encourage guests to first contact our management team to resolve any concerns. For unresolved disputes, we support mediation and alternative dispute resolution methods before pursuing formal legal action.

11. Special Provisions

11.1 Business Travel

Corporate accounts and business travelers may be subject to additional terms and conditions as outlined in separate corporate agreements. These terms supplement but do not replace the general terms of service.

11.2 Extended Stays

Guests staying more than 28 consecutive days may be subject to different rates, terms, and local regulations. Extended stay arrangements must be approved by management and documented in writing.
